Missing boy latest: Lake cordoned off by police in search for Noah, 3
Police have cordoned off a lake as they continue to search for missing Noah Woods who vanished from a park on Tuesday. The three-year-old disappeared after becoming separated from a relative at a playground in Merriam Close, Brantham, Suffolk, at around 3pm.
He is believed to have run down an alleyway next to the playground towards a new-build housing estate. A huge search has continued through the night and into Wednesday, with police now cordoning off Decoy Pond as officers scour the area for the youngster. A nearby wooded area has also been closed to the public, with a police officer putting up additional tape telling people it was "out of bounds". Suffolk Police have also focused efforts on an industrial estate along Factory Lane, where three Incident Response Unit vehicles and several police cars have been seen. The estate has also been cordoned off.
