Tony Livesey Leaves BBC Radio 5 Live After David Sullivan Allegations

Presenter Tony Livesey has left his position as a radio presenter with the BBC after 16 years, following allegations towards David Sullivan, who Livesey worked for from 1987 to 2006 as editor-in-chief of Sullivan’s Sport newspapers.

After a BBC Panorama investigation accused David Sullivan of committing predatory and sexually exploitative behavior towards women for decades, Livesey announced he would be stepping away from his program “for a short time”, but now it has been confirmed he will not be coming back. 

In the investigation, one alleged victim claimed that Livesey set up a meeting between her and Sullivan, which Livesey has denied, saying he has “no recollection” of this.
