The Batmobile Spotted in Glasgow

The Batmobile has been spotted in Glasgow, as parts of the city such as Bothwell Street are transformed into Gotham in preparation for filming of The Batman: Part II. 

Filming is set to begin in the coming days, with fans already crowding the area hoping for a glimpse into the upcoming action. Photographs of props such as Gotham Police cars and City signs have been circulating online, as have images of the famous Batmobile arriving for the shoot. 

The Batman: Part II is the long awaited follow up to Matt Reeves’s 2022 film The Batman, which was also partly shot in Glasgow. The film saw Robert Pattinson take on the titular role, trying to defeat The Riddler, played by Paul Dano. The film was a huge success, earning over $772 million worldwide. Not much is known about the sequel, but Pattinson will be returning, and the antagonist is rumoured to be Two-Face, played by Sebastian Stan.  

The Batman: Part II will be released in cinemas starting from February 18th 2028.
