New James Bond to be Announced by The End of 2026

An update has been provided on when the role of James Bond will be cast.

The previous installment of the Bond franchise, No Time To Die, saw Daniel Craig play 007 for the final time, and ever since then, fans have been speculating who will replace him.

Now, producer Amy Pascal has said she expects the role to be cast by the end of this year, explaining the difficulties of picking the right actor for the job: “We are being really, really methodical. Having worked with Barbara Broccoli at the studio, I mean, Daniel Craig is a hard act to follow. And it's got to be something really different that is stirring and exciting.”

According to The Scotsman on their top 10 list of actors most likely to get the part, Callum Turner is number 1, with Tom Francis and Louis Partridge next in line. 

Not much is known about the next Bond installment, but it will be directed by Denis Villeneuve, known for the Dune franchise, and Peaky Blinders writer Steven Knight is in charge of the script.
