Joe Marler Joins The Cast of Gladiators

Former rugby union player Joe Marler will be joining the upcoming series of popular BBC show Gladiators.

The show sees members of the public face off in strength tests and obstacle courses against a team of athletes known as Gladiators, who all have nicknames like ‘Comet’ and ‘Nitro’. 

Marler is the first celebrity ever to be cast as a Gladiator, and will be known as ‘Mauler’. 

The series is currently being filmed, and will air in 2027.
