Frankie Bridge Health Diagnosis

01 Jul 2026

Singer and television presenter Frankie Bridge has revealed she has been diagnosed with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder at the age of 37, describing the diagnosis as "the last missing piece" in understanding her long-term mental health struggles.

The former member of The Saturdays shared the news in a YouTube vlog, explaining that fellow **Loose Women** panellist Denise Welch encouraged her to seek an assessment after recognising similar symptoms in herself. Denise, who was diagnosed with ADHD in 2023, suggested Frankie speak to the same specialist.

Bridge admitted she initially had mixed emotions after receiving the diagnosis but soon realised it helped explain many of the challenges she has faced throughout her life, including anxiety, depression and perfectionism. She said the diagnosis brought a sense of relief and a better understanding of how her mind works.

The TV personality has spoken openly for many years about her mental health, including being treated for depression in her twenties. She hopes sharing her ADHD diagnosis will encourage others who recognise similar symptoms to seek professional advice and support.
